It is elegant and dynamic with classic Art Deco styling. It originally appeared in a French periodical of the time and has now become highly collectible and desirable by today's fashionistas and collectors. It is NOT a recent reproduction print. The image showcases the globally renowned equestrian saddlery and travel goods under the Hermès name. They are known for their uncompromising craftsmanship. The image is illustrated and signed by Georges Lapape (1887-1971) in upper left. Lapape was a highly acclaimed fashion illustrator and poster artist who was an influential force in both the Art Nouveau and Art Deco periods. His work is known for its elegant designs, slender figures and fluid lines. Note this...zoom in to see the wonderful detailing in the lower landscape of the print. This image is in pristine condition with no indication of age.
