The soft patina of the newer white painted finish adds to their allure, which is distressed and rubbed revealing much of the natural wood below.
Simple muslin fabric on the seats is stapled in order to hold the batting in place. If buyer does not want this de-constructed look, the pair are ready to be upholstered.
These stools are restored, solid, stable and ready to be enjoyed. All scratches, cracks, dings, and age-related separation are commensurate with age and do not detract from the beauty nor function of this lovely pair.
