Hand-carved in the 1700s in French oak, this triangular overdoor pediment features a winged cherub. The cherub’s head has been carved with great depth, giving it added prominence over the pair of wings and foliate rinceaux below. Surrounded by a thin, raised border that follows the overall shape of the pediment.
