A West German collector's item from the 1960s or 70s, numbered 546-50 on the base.

"West Germany" was essentially a collective term for ceramics marketed roughly between 1950 and 1990. Well-known names include Roth, Carstens, Ruscha, Jopeko, Jasba, and Fohr, though Scheurich and Bay were arguably the biggest manufacturers.
