elegant pair of vintage decorative ceramic plates, entirely handcrafted and hand-painted. The front of each piece is embellished with a rich, bold floral motif, featuring large, blooming roses in intense cobalt and azure blue, surrounded by dense, glossy black foliage. The back of the pair bears the distinctive trademark, a stylized ear of wheat flanked by the word "roma," painted freehand. This signature identifies the production of the ceramics manufacturer "la spiga," an art studio active in the capital since the post-world war ii period. The vibrant, textured decoration stands out magnificently against the yellow ochre background, creating a visually striking color contrast.
