A refined small jug in glazed and vitrified ceramic, entirely hand-decorated. The piece is distinguished by its characteristic trilobate mouth and a sophisticated double-spout handle. The two ceramic elements, initially fused in a wide band, branch out gracefully near the lower junction, extending along the body of the vase with soft, elegant lines. Under the base is the handwritten signature of the Lombard artist "Guido Robiati," the trademark of the historic Lodi factory, and the explicit date "1932." The ornamental motif features a stylized leaf motif in shades of green on a creamy white background. This decoration reinterprets the classic canons of late-seventeenth-century and early-eighteenth-century Lombard ceramics, revived by the artist Guido Robiati in the decades between the two world wars. Highly sought-after by the collectors' market since the 1930s, these pieces are now extremely rare.
