Subject and Style: The potiche vase, complete with its original lid with an elaborate flame-shaped handle, features a square base and a cup with an elegant, classical profile. The entire surface, crafted with a delicate basket-weave pattern, forms the backdrop to a spectacular continuous vine of roses and wildflowers modeled in the round, a typical expression of the virtuosity of Capodimonte craftsmanship.

Material and Finish: Crafted from fine, delicate biscuit porcelain, the sculpture is hand-painted in delicate, soft, matte pastel shades. The number "3598" is painted in blue beneath the solid base.
