Salloch, the German-born American artist and graphic designer who emigrated to the United
States in 1937. This unframed work depicts the iconic Piazza della Cisterna in the medieval hill town of San Gimignano, Italy. Signed at the bottom right and dated 1970.
The sheet measures approximately 18'' X 12''. Condition is vintage and unrestored, with overall good presentation. Sold unframed.
A strong example of Salloch’s mid-century landscape work, with fluid ink line and transparent
watercolor washes.
