This ceiling lamp is manufactured by Rupert Nikoll. The spheric lamp features a brass core mounted with lacquered wire baskets. 14 white lacquered shades holding E 14 bulbs alternate with glass flowers and prisms to create the snowball (or "Pusteblume") effect after which this piece is named. One of the three sockets on the top (north pole!) had to be replaced for security reason. Small difference to the other 13, not really noticeable. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
issues arising from misattribution,
