A very well executed artisan painted city sign on metal.
The crest / seal of the Bantry is portrayed in gold, brick red, Atlantic blue, rich browns, black and white.
Features a wild boar, three sailing ships, and a cross.
Fantastic woodgrain faux-finish paint work and charming age - artist signed and dated 91 in lower right.
14.25" wide by 20" long - unframed.

We are just back from a holiday in Ireland - our third as a couple - and we found some wonderful treasures along the way!
Bantry Bay, between Kenmare and Kinsale on the southern coast of Ireland, is a magical spot. A wonderful harbor town with important links to the history of modern Ireland. And, in the weekly morning market, we found this - a genuinely well-one piece of commercial original art.
