This exceptional antique Heriz (Serapi-style) runner rug beautifully marries historic craftsmanship with a highly sought-after contemporary aesthetic. Hand-knotted from high-quality hand-spun wool, the runner features a striking, elongated field populated by an alternating sequence of geometric medallions, prominent stepped crosses, and crisp diamond cartouches. The color palette is wonderfully soft and muted due to a century of gentle, authentic wear. A primary field of sun-faded terracotta and rust is balanced by vibrant pops of seafoam green, soft sage, sky blue, and cream accents, all framed by a classic geometric herati border.
This rug measures 2'11" x 10'.
