Mid-Century Modern Lipper & Mann demitasse / coffee / tea set. Originated from Japan, which is labeled on the bottom of the pieces. Made of fine porcelain ceramic. Some call it "Harlequin" style, characterized by a stark white tall beverage pot contrasted by a bright orange lid and vibrant color-blocked cups. It is a numbered set, this particular one is 8 of 75 sets produced, as shown on the bottom of each piece.
The green band on the pitcher spout is called a 'cup rest' so that the cup isn't chipped during the pouring process!
