1950s metal waste bin design, with a most delightful abstract print that is reflecting the atomic age. Just have a look at the pictures, the small abstract figures are really intriguing and evokes many associations ( modern science, art, nature ). This hard to find piece is made by Worcester Ware England. Quite rare piece. Clearly influenced by the modernist painters such as Paul Klee, joan miro and designers such as Lucienne Day. Restored condition; minor dents, inner white repainted, minor reworking outside.
