Featuring conical bases, slender stems, spherical accents, and wide flared cups, the graduated forms embody the playful geometry and exaggerated proportions associated with Memphis and postmodern design.

Christian de Beaumont blurred the line between decorative object and sculpture, and these candlesticks are no exception. Their silhouettes feel distinctly architectural, with a strong sense of balance and asymmetry that recalls the work of Ettore Sottsass and the Memphis movement.
