Its striking silhouette combines clean Scandinavian design with decorative craftsmanship. A particularly charming feature is the pierced pattern around the lower edge of the shade. The delicate star- or snowflake-shaped cut-outs create a beautiful atmospheric glow when illuminated, adding depth and visual interest to the light. The upper section is adorned with an elegant flared brass crown, a distinctive design element that enhances the lamp’s sculptural appearance and makes it a true Mid-Century statement piece. The wiring has been professionally renewed for modern safety standards. Originally, the lamp featured a height-adjustable pull-down mechanism. Due to the installation of a modern, thicker safety cable, the mechanism can no longer function as intended, as the cable does not retract properly inside the brass counterweight. The mechanism remains present as an original decorative feature but is no longer operational. with its highly desirable size, this pendant is versatile and easy to place, whether above a dining table, kitchen island, side table, reading corner, or as an elegant accent light. Most likely manufactured in Scandinavia, probably Sweden, circa 1950–1965.
