Beautiful handcrafted stoneware vessel with a rich brown glaze and striking crawling ("fat lava") glaze over the body. Tall, narrow-neck form with an impressed maker's mark on the base. Heavy, well-made piece, likely dating to the 1960s–1970s.
From an Edina, MN estate and believed to be a regional studio pottery piece. The maker has not been identified, making it a great addition for collectors of American studio ceramics or mid-century décor.
Excellent vintage condition with no chips or cracks.
