Late 20th Century Vintage Thailand Ban Chiang Style Earthenware Vessel.
Dating back to the 1970s featuring scrolling cut out motifs around the top of the vessel with sculpted heads of elephants as handles. Inspired by the Ban Chiang culture dating back to the 3rd millennium BCE. Became widely interested and reproduced during the rustic Asian Artisan aesthetic movement.
This piece is quite heavy, featuring normal aging and wear & tear. No chipping or cracks. In a beautiful shades of patina gray.
