The repeating diamond pattern shifts through indigo, garnet, … Read more Completely hand-woven fine, soft wool kilim from the Ecuadorian highlands, signed "Ecru." The repeating diamond pattern shifts through indigo, garnet, avocado/moss and terracotta against an ivory wool ground--each diamond shaded from dark edge to pale center giving the piece visual movement. We count 30 different yarn-dyed threads.

Flat woven in 100% hand-spun wool, hand-knotten fringe (2") at both ends.
Vintage, excellent condition, colors extremely saturated, fringe intact and untrimmed. Small enough to work as floor rug, wall hanging or table runner.
