Vintage Antique 2 (Two) Tier Chinese Wedding Basket made of dark wood woven bamboo and rattan. Intricately carved wood in a rich dark lacquer.
Historically used for transporting gifts or food during a wedding tea ceremony with stackable baskets and carrying handle. Estimated to late 19th or 20th century. Representing prosperity and abundance.
Carvings are of flowers and a repeating geometric.
