Perret on may 3, 1899. It will be taken over in october 1909 by his daughter jeanne massier and son-in-law marc clergue. In 1930, their son jean clergue continued manufacturing until 1953 using the stamp "j massier vallauris". This is the stamp, we got under the vase. This vase is a very modern style for massier's production, close to what will do later ettore sottsass. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
