It was a very popular piece for the … Read more This italian ceramic greyhound statue/sculpture likely originated from Italy during the 1950's-1970's. It was a very popular piece for the living room and the lanai (back patio). Today, the vintage pieces are more of a mantle piece or an ornament to be placed on a large piece of furniture. This piece has glazing on it's back. It's quite beautiful. The height of this piece is 26" tall and is 20" wide and 10.5" deep. I believe this one to be made in the 1960's. It is wearing a collar and sits atop a fluffy bed. The eyes on this one is outstanding. The nails on her toes have been painted. Dog racing fans would love to have this in their living rooms as a trophy piece. See less
