Horizontal white streaks bleed across the weave in every direction, giving the geometric composition a slightly diffused, hand-made quality that flat-dyed fabric cannot produce. Bold and graphic without being loud.

Handwoven from silk threads dyed using the ikat resist technique, in which yarn is bound and dyed before weaving so the pattern forms during the weaving process itself. Not printed; the pattern is woven directly into the fabric structure. Each piece carries the natural variation of hand-dyeing and hand-weaving; slight irregularities in color and repeat are intrinsic to the process. See less
