The pair includes both the male and female monkey servants. One is holding a clam shell tray, and the other wears an apron carrying baskets of fruit. They are cold painted- a technique popular during the Art Deco period of the 1920s. The bronze figures are covered with enamel paint, which has begun to chip with age. Each has a ruffled glass bud vase which is removable. Such an amusing piece of decor for your home! See less
