Celebrated for its rugged, Western-influenced durability blended with a distinct mid century low profile silhouette, this piece is an exceptional candidate for a custom restoration project. Due to age, the fabric and base deck carry a noticeable vintage odor and will need reupholstered. Chair features Brandt's signature thick, heavy-grained solid oak construction, distinct angled "paddle" armrests, and the company's proprietary carved geometric peg accents on the structural joints. The low, relaxed pitch of the slatted back frame makes it incredibly comfortable. Perfect for adding a touch of rustic modernism or cabin chic to any space. See less

The frame exhibits a beautiful natural patina with only minor vintage surface wear and light scuffs consistent with age, requiring no structural repairs. This piece is an excellent upholstery project, according to the original owner this chair was reupholstered in the 1980s, at which time the original paper manufacturer labels were removed. The included 1980s beige fabric cushions are structurally intact with fabric that shows no visible wear, and the base deck is finished in cloth. However, due to age, the fabric and base deck carry a noticeable vintage odor. They are primarily included to serve as highly accurate templates for cutting new foam and upholstery to restore this Texas design classic to its full glory. less
