Antique early 20th century Adam style hand carved giltwood and gesso oval mirror with urn crest, bell flowers swags and ribbon bows.
The bevelled mirror glass plate is set within a stunningly hand carved, moulded and fluted giltwood frame with gorgeous lambs tongue and beaded row detail throughout. Surmounted with an intricately pierced centred crest composition of a fabulous arrangement of elegant Neoclassical motifs, comprising of a central urn with flame, scroll, trailing folate, ruffle and acanthus leaf motif detail flanked with a fabulous pair of swags of bell husks with ribbon bow motif.
