This … Read more A beautifully minimalist, mouth-blown glass vase designed by Tamara Aladin for Riihimäen Lasi Oy in Finland during the 1960s. This "Presto" model features a globe form with a short collar neck in a smoky, steel-blue hue, typical of mid-century Nordic design. The thickness of the glass, combined with its fire-polished finish, exemplifies the high-quality production techniques of the Riihimäki factory. The clear glass bottom is polished smooth, and while this piece is unsigned, this was the standard for everyday production items of this line. See less
