Pretty pair of chinoiserie style handpainted ginger jar lamps with white linen drum shade. Not precisely the same if you note the slightly different decoration, one lamp features a parrot and the other a songbird and the calligraphy is also not the same. The bases are different as well and the ever so slight difference in size but as a pair they work very well together. Both are is excellent vintage condition. The ginger jars are probably late 19th C. and to lamp in the mid 20th C.
Measures 21" to the top of the harp, 14" to the top of the socket, 9" wide.
Great working condition.
The shades are included for free. Let me know you would like them. These lamps would look fantastic with a shirred fabric shade that are the rage today.
