Bring a touch of organic coastal elegance to your interior with this striking vintage Italian ceramic studio vase. Standing 8.5 inches tall, this artisanal piece features a masterfully sculpted, high-relief texture reminiscent of sea urchins, barnacles, or marine coral structures.
The vase is enveloped in dozens of individually hand-formed, protruding ceramic cells. Each cell is finished with a delicate wash of pale celadon-green glaze inside its cup and anchored by a central dark accent dot, creating a mesmerizing pattern against the glossy, creamy-white glazed body. The organic, slightly asymmetrical rim echoes the natural forms of the Mediterranean sea, showcasing the exceptional craft and character of mid-century Italian pottery.
Whether displayed as a standalone sculptural art piece or used to hold an eclectic floral arrangement, this highly tactile vase serves as an eye-catching focal point for coastal modern, eclectic, or Hollywood Regency decor styles.
