the lower section opens with two molded doors framed by curved uprights and surmounted by two drawers in the frieze. The upper section serves as both a display cabinet and a bookcase, with glazed doors decorated with arched muntins offering a clear view of the interior shelves. It is flanked by two small carved doors. The upper section is crowned with a prominent openwork pediment adorned with scrolls and a shell motif.

the piece rests on cabriole legs and is distinguished by the quality of its carving: florets, shells, foliage, and flowing motifs characteristic of the louis xv style. The warm blond patina of the walnut highlights the wood grain and lends the piece considerable elegance.
