This handcrafted jug by the German ceramicist Richard Uhlemeyer (1900-1954) features a natural, almost stone-like glaze, a rare find in his workshop.
The warm beige and honey tones, the delicate textures, and the irregularly flowing sections lend the piece an organic depth.
His impressed mark, featuring the Hanoverian horse heads, is located on the base. This piece has an attribution mark,
