Antique 1920s School Cupboard by the North of England School Furnishing Company
Stunning imported cupboard/cabinet from England by the “North of England School Furnishing Company.” Features documentary/records inside the doors of its use over the decades. One class of students in the 1970s wrote their names on the backside of the cabinet. Amazing history! This cabinet dates back to the 1920s and features all original hardware, shelves, finish, etc - except for the lock which was replaced in the 60s-70s. It does not come with a key, but a replacement skeleton key can be easily found if desired. Very large and heavy! Excellent for linens/clothing storage, media storage, etc.
Measures 52-1/2” wide (at the top where it is the widest on the trim, otherwise the “main body” is only 48” wide) by 18” deep (or 15-3/4” not including the top trim) by 72-1/8” tall.
