Standing an impressive 56 inches high, the sculpture depicts two stylized flamingos in a graceful, intertwined composition characteristic of Somchai’s iconic modernist animal forms. Executed in solid bronze with a rich hand-applied patina, the sculpture features elongated necks, sculptural wings, and slender legs mounted on a black Acrylic base. The original brass plaque inscribed “Designed and Sculptured by Somchai Hattakitkosol” remains intact. A striking statement piece for Mid-Century Modern, Contemporary, or Asian-inspired interiors, this monumental sculpture functions equally well as a focal point in a living room, foyer, or covered outdoor setting.
