Nayla Saroufim’s contemporary sculptures translate optimism into form. Her works feel playful at first glance, then quietly persistent the longer you live with them. Working in metal and mixed materials, Saroufim approaches sculpture through a designer’s eye for silhouette, color, and clean geometry, building pieces that read like graphic icons in three dimensions. Her work draws from the visual language of pop culture and illustration, while staying rooted in the physicality of sculpture. Her artworks encompass polished surfaces, crisp edges, and a presence that shifts as you move around them.

Born in 1982 in Beirut and trained in illustration and art direction, Saroufim brings a refined sense of composition to her objects—balancing lightness with structure, and humor with sincerity. She began her career in multinational advertising before returning fully to studio practice, and she later chose to focus specifically on metal-based work. The result is a signature style that merges installation thinking with collectible scale: sculptures designed to be lived with, styled on shelves and consoles, and experienced from multiple vantage points.
Nayla Saroufim’s work has been featured in solo exhibitions, including in London in 2015 and in Beirut in 2013. Her work has been exhibited at art fairs in New York, Singapore, and Hong Kong ia Contemporary Art.
