A charming and functional circa 1900 German natural pine storage box with oversized original iron key. Beautiful dovetail construction is evident at the corners. An interior candle box with flip up lid acts as a support for the lid when it is open. The surface of the pine is waxed... just buff with a soft brush or an old t-shirt to increase the shine. The natural patina will develop and improve with age.
