Originally hand-finished and assembled one by one, "Africa" features a solid wood support structure with a thin rectangular cross-section. In this model, the interplay of the veneer thicknesses reaches its maximum impact; above the seat, a backrest of great sculptural strength emerges in curved plywood covered in leather.
