This antique table from Italy features … Read more An elegant Italian wooden console table, with marble top, from the early 19th century. This antique table from Italy features a beautifully colored marble top in light green and black, atop the apron whose upper perimeter (just beneath the top overhang) is adorned in a gold/bronze accent trim about the front and each side. The apron is cleanly designed with squared veneers showing rich wood grain. This piece is presented upon four smoothly rounded legs, with cinched knees that are wrapped with foliate carvings, and gently taper toward their peg style feet. This early 19th century Italian table with marble top, just over 4 feet in length, is un-adorned at its backside, therefore best use would be placed as a console against a wall. See less
