This vintage table from Italy has a slender, demi shaped marble top, which rests atop a rounded apron that is adorned in a delightful motif of scrolling leaves, florals, and shells. The console is raised on four round, fluted legs, with carved leaf wraps about their knees and ankles, which gently taper towards their feet. The painted finish is primarily a creamy beige with gilt accents (with some chipping/areas of paint loss and patina throughout). Note that the marble has had a prior repair at its underside. This mid 20th century Italian demi-lune table, approximately 4 feet in width, will make a splendid console to decorate a living room or entry foyer. See less
