Hand-knotted with hand-spun Ghazni wool on a cotton foundation, the high-contrast palette and crisp gul definition give this piece exceptional graphic presence, true to the celebrated Bokhara weaving tradition. A wide, elaborately stacked border of diamond lattice and rosette guard stripes completes the piece with rich, layered detail. See less
