Siamo noi is an original pressed oil painting on canvas, realized by the italian artist ambra morosi (florence, 1951) in 2018. From the series "le perle" (the pearls). Very good conditions. The authenticity label signed, dated by the artist is glued on the back of the artwork. Using a particular sfumato technique, she tries to abstract her subjects always linked to love engage, tried to transform into an absolute form. A contemporary artwork by an exponent of the estensionismo tendency, with big dimensions and high quality, to exhibit proudly in your parlor. Ambra morosi (florence, italy,1951) her early paintings were stylistically classical. In the early 1980s, she painted in a hyper-realistic manner. Since 1984, her artworks assumed an original quality, difficult to classify according to known artistic styles. Using a particular sfumato technique, she tried to transform subject matter into an absolute form. In 1994, she founded an avant-garde artistic movement, called estensionism (es=id), based on these principles. Her first painting exhibition dates back to 1984. Since then, she has held many one-man exhibitions and has participated in numerous group shows, both in italy and abroad. Morosi has recently exhibited in new york (caelum gallery and c.v.b. Space), cortina d’ampezzo (museo delle regole), rome (s. Carlo al corso), florence (accademia delle arti e del disegno and museo degli innocenti), barcelona (art expo), london (the empire gallery). Morosi’s production is included in many private and public collections in italy, u.s.a., japan, poland (cracovian museum of modern art). In 1990, the prestigious accademia dei dioscuri awarded morosi a prize for her original work. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
issues arising from misattribution
