Classic beech single hoop back dining chairs made in France. The process of steam bending beech to create elegant chairs was discovered and developed by Thonet. These chairs date from the 1950’s, a classic shape with a rich colour and character and a slim elegant back with a single hoop. Sadly we don’t know the maker but we believe them to be Baumann. We service and wax each chair before it leaves our workshop and we deliver chairs of excellent quality. Seat Height: 45cm Workshop Report: Our workshop team inspect every product and carry out any needed repairs to ensure that everything leaves us serviced and maintained ready for many more years of life. All of our vintage products show the rich beauty and history of their life with the knocks and bumps of many years of use and we try to minimise restoration to keep every piece as original as possible.
