Petrified wood is a fossilized wood (from the same family as magnolia) dating back 20 million years. Silica replaced the wood fibers molecule by molecule, resulting in silicified wood. The slow fossilization process allows the tree's patterns to be distinguished. Petrified wood is a noble material, comparable to granite and precious stones. This modular piece of furniture can be used as a side table, end table, or stool. It features an elegant, minimalist geometric shape and a refined, organic texture.
