A mid century buffet, credenza or sideboard designed by Raymond Sobota for Century Furniture.
It is part of a line of furniture called The Chin Hua Collection, all of which was designed by Raymond Sobota for Century.
This piece is the height of Hollywood Regency meets mid century modern and Asian modern design. It also reads chinoiserie.

The case is an ebonized black finish which reads a black brown color.
We love the oversized geometric brass hardware.

This casegoods piece has plenty of storage. Three dovetailed drawers. Two large storage areas behind doors on its bottom. There is a fixed shelf in each of the lower cabinet storage areas that are not adjustable.

Use this piece in your dining space, kitchen, living room etc. Use as a bar.
We also see it used in a hallway or foyer. Add a pair of lamps, a mirror or a painting above it and you're all set.

The original brass hardware is fantastic with it Asian inspired design. The original finish is a deep brown black.

The original finish has some light scratches and surface wear typical from age. The brass hardware has not been shined up and has natural brass patina. See less
