Salloch, the German-born American artist and graphic designer who emigrated to the United
States in 1937. This unframed work depicts an expansive, atmospherically evocative mountain landscape of Mount Chocorua in New Hampshire. Signed at the bottom left and dated 1941.
The sheet measures approximately 13'' X 16''. Condition is vintage and unrestored, with light toning and scattered light foxing. Sold unframed.
A strong example of Salloch’s mid-century landscape work, with fluid ink line and transparent
watercolor washes.
