Jean de Lespinasse sets up a local craft business at the end of the war, then he creates with his wife the Socfra which will produce ceramics from the end of the 1940s. Their path will then cross that of Roger Capron and his wife Jacotte, the Madoura workshops, Robert Picault and Georges Tardieu.
The pieces signed by the Jean de Lespinasse workshop are generally large, nervous and very structured. Note the great work in the enamel, between matt and gloss, which shows a great mastery of the art of ceramics. This piece has an attribution mark,
