Subject and Style: The vase features a rigorous cylindrical structure. Luminous central medallions enclosing delicate bouquets of roses stand out against a deep, intense cobalt blue background. The aesthetic is richly framed by elaborate Greek frets and wide decorative bands of floral motifs, finely silk-screened in gold.

Material and Finish: Crafted from fine porcelain by the Venetian Lagoon factory (as shown on the original tag certifying the Limoges decorations). The enameled surface is embellished with hand-painted floral details and luxurious finishes in lustrous pure gold.
