A beautiful and very useful antique burr elm butlers tray top coffee table. This was made in England, it dates from around the 1930’s.
The quality is outstanding, this is solid wood construction throughout with absolutely stunning burr elm veneers on the top. The tray top lifts right off the nicely shaped cross frame base to be used for serving food or drinks, The edges of the top can also fold down, to open out and increase the serving area.
We have recently had this re-polished, the condition is excellent for its age. The elm retains a gorgeous patina and colour tone.
