Authentic Art Nouveau sideboard from around 1880 with an elegant character – a so-called vanity unit with a granite top, as was common in finer households of the time. The solid top made of dark natural granite is a true highlight – exquisitely patterned, beautifully profiled, and extremely robust. The body is made of oak with a veneer. The piece is unrestored but very well-maintained, with its original patina and wonderfully preserved fittings. Two drawers and a spacious interior offer practical storage space – all lockable and sturdy. The elegant, period-typical ornaments and carved appliqués complete the overall look. Ideal as a standalone piece in the entryway, as a vanity unit in the bathroom, or as an eye-catching feature in any living space. This is a piece of history – enduring, valuable, and full of potential.
