A stunning five drawer chest designed by T.H. Robsjohn Gibbings for the Widdicomb Furniture Company. I cannot say enough about the quality of the workmanship of this piece, complex joinery, dovetail joints and amazing wood selection, the drawer fronts are fantastic.
The chest features klismos feet, a bowed front and brass hardware. Fully marked in the top drawer with the faded "Widdicomb designed by T.H. Robsjohn Gibbings" sticker and a second mark that copyrights the drawer pulls in 1955.
