Hand-painted wall plates from the Hutsul tradition of the Carpathian region, likely made in Romania in the 1950s.
The plates feature stylized bird and ornamental motifs in typical blue (green and yellow) and earthy red (green and yellow) tones, complemented by characteristic dot and line painting.
