Beautiful vintage red vase featuring a glossy, raised 'Fat Lava' glaze; a Scheurich vase from the ‘Europ Line’ (West German pottery from the 1960s–70s). It is numbered 244-22 on the base and still bears the original manufacturer's sticker.
"West Germany" was essentially a collective term for ceramics produced roughly between 1950 and 1990. Well-known names include Roth, Carstens, Ruscha, Jopeko, Jasba, and Fohr, though Scheurich and Bay were arguably the biggest players.
This vase is in perfect vintage condition—free of cracks, breaks, or chips; please check the photos for details.
